Our summer project provides the time and resources to meaningfully shape how schools respond to the return to in-class instruction in light of a year of online and hybrid teaching necessitated by the global pandemic. Over the past academic year, the research team led jointly by Drs. Antero Garcia and Shelley Goldman conducted interviews with stakeholders in four local school districts. This research-practice partnership focused on exploring the learning opportunities of young people in the extraordinary circumstances of global pandemic and provides research-based support to schools.
