Social technologies and youth well-being: One of the most important debates facing society is how social technologies, such as social media and mobile phones, affect people’s well-being, particularly youth. Unfortunately, the national dialogue around social technologies and their effect on society is often uninformed by scientific evidence, leading to hyperbolic and anxiety-inducing claims. This project will explore the effects of technological use on the well-being of youth to better inform the public debate and policy.
